The golden ring of Russia
We start in Moscow, where the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral and Red Square bear witness to the power and prestige of the
Russian Empire under the Tsars. To the north of Moscow lie a scattering of small towns and cities - the Golden Ring - which
are home to some of the country's finest architecture featuring churches, cathedrals and kremlins (fortified areas of the
city centre). Traveling through this area also gives us the chance to experience the provincial Russia of wooden houses,
villages and markets. Here are two options of traveling through the cities of the Golden Ring. There Itinerary can verify
depending of the particular interests and time limit.

Moscow
1 day. Arrival to Moscow. Meeting at the airport with the guide transfer to the hotel. Evening is free for personal exploration of the city.
2 day. Moscow. Breakfast at the hotel. Half day Sight Seeing tour including the Red square, Kremlin with armory chamber and two Cathedrals. The afternoon is free.
Optional excursions and activities:
- Excursion to armory or diamond found.
- Half day trip to Kolomenskoe or Kuskovo estate.
- Evening performance in Bolshoy theatre or Moscow Circus.
3 day. Vladimir and Suzdal. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to city Vladimir (180 kilometers, 2,5 - 3 hours). Sight
seeing tour around the city, including Dormition Cathedral and Golden Gate. P.M. Transfer to Suzdal (32 kilometers, 30 minutes). City
tour with excursion to the monastery and museum of wooden art. Overnight in Suzdal.
4 day. Kostroma. Transfer Kostroma. (180 kilometers, 3 hours). Half day city tour in Kostroma including visits to local
Kremlin. Overnight in the hotel of Kostroma city. Optional late evening boat trip on the Volga River.
5 day. Yaroslavl and Rostov. Breakfast in the hotel. Take the morning trip to Yaroslavl (76 kilometres, 1,5 - 2 hours ) where
you will visit the nunnery, Tolgskiy monastery, and have a panoramic tour of the city. Continue trip to Rostov-The-Great
(57 kilometers, 1-1,5 hour)on the lake Nero where one of the oldest Kremlin is located. Russian master craftsmen put inexhaustible
fantasy and skill into every Rostov's Kremlin buildings and all of them will delight you with its beauty. Overnight in the hotel
of Rostov.
6 day. Sergiev Posad. Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Moscow via Sergiev Posad (130kilometers, 2-2,5 hours)
Excursion in the town with a visit to St.Sergiy-Trinity Laura - the monastery founded by Sergiy Radonezhsky. The buildings were built
during the time of Ivan the Terrible. Here tourists see the famous works of the greatest Russian icon-artist Andrey Rublev. After dinner
in a local restaurant with vodka tasting drive back to Moscow. (70 kilometers, 1,5 hours)
Overnight in Moscow
7 day. Departure transfer to airport for the homebound flight.
