For more than ten years companies occupying the market of machinery, equipment and ingredients for food processing industry and their consumers meet during the first October week at the same Fairgrounds. Agroprodmash is considered to be the largest international food production exhibition in Russia with an established reputation and traditions. It has become a traditional autumn show of advanced food production technologies, accumulation of the latest international experience in the agroindustrial field, the search for new progressive solutions, the adaptation of the best world achievements to the Russian market sector. The current growth of the show indicates the continuous and steady development of the Russian market of machinery, equipment and ingredients for food processing industry and Agroindustrial complex.
The goals set by the Russian government within the framework of the national priority project “The Development of the Agroindustrial Complex” prove the ever-growing significance of the international exhibition “AGROPRODMASH” for the Russian agroindustrial complex.
Being the leading event of the field, Agroprodmash comprises expositions representing all the branches of food processing industry, such as:
- Food processing equipment for various branches of food industry (equipment for meat processing, for processing grain and producing bakery products, for producing pasta, for confectionery production, for processing oilseeds and vegetable oil, for processing fruits and vegetables, for producing canned products, etc.)

771 companies from 29 countries took part in the 10th Agroprodmash 2005 jubilee exhibition. The number of foreign exhibitors exceeded 270 companies. The most numerous were expositions from Germany (62 exhibitors), Italy (50), the Netherlands (14), France (14), Austria (11) and many others.
